I'd really appreciate if someone could clear this for me and tell me what to do. I have get information for the cost approx. Apple is not replacing the battery for free. I have even replaced the battery and it is showing me also Cycle Count 0. ![]() I am using AlDente's regular version for a week or so, but I think when it charges up to 80 or 90 from any %, it adds a cycle still. I am having a macbook pro mid 2018 with same problem. ![]() ![]() I never paid attention to battery issues with my mid 2012 mbp, and it worked for 7 years and still does! I just found that the M1 battery can do 1000 cycles before needing replacement, and I see people here have battery cycles in 2 digits! Mine is 590 cycles and health is 98% after 13 months of use! Is this at all normal? Is there sth I'm doing wrong? there might have been days that I played the sims 4 for 8 hrs a day and had to charge twice in one day. I have had my M1 mbp for a little over a year now, i have used it for school work, some programming and CFD processing, and sometimes the Sims 4.
